Description

Hundreds of years before the arrival of Alexander in Mathura, the Yavanas spread their business in Saurashtra, the western part of India, settled their settlements and tried to establish their power within India. By killing Kaal Yavana, Krishna not only stopped the increasing influence of foreigners, but also included many Yavanas in the Aryans. The priests made the religion based on Vedic rituals very expensive and time-consuming. On the basis of the Upanishads, Krishna gave a simple, easy method of worship by mixing knowledge, action and devotion to the mind who was tired of the complex processes of religion. This principle of Krishna became popular everywhere and people accepted him as God. The darshan given by Krishna made Pandavas less in number victorious. People continued to consider Krishna as God and refined themselves to become like God. Ghor Angris Rishi said to him that you are ‘Akshit Akshay’, ‘Achyut Avinashi’ and he shouted in Kurukshetra that ‘I have no beginning, no end’, ‘I am in the land, I am in the water’. Sages like Muni Narad established Krishna in the form of Vishnu by chanting ‘Narayan Narayan’.
